Receive individual instruction in painting and/or drawing- in your choice of media: pencil, ink, pastel, crayon, watercolor, acrylic, oil or whatever your creative mind prefers. We cannot use spray paint. We require odorless thinner for oil painting.

SUCCESSFULLY PAINTING THE LANDSCAPE FROM PHOTOGRAPHS (PASTEL) WITH SHARON WILL
SATURDAY, TBD, 2017 Code SW-2, 9:30 – 4 (with lunch break) Members: $95, Guests $105
This workshop will be packed with lessons learned from plein air painting and direct observation from life, you will learn to successfully edit a photo to create lively, representational paintings. Concepts covered are; the planes of the landscape, how to create convincing atmospheric perspective, tonal vs. light and shadow painting, along with under painting techniques to create interesting and vibrating color! Demonstrations will be in pastel, but the principles apply to any medium. We’ll be working small on 9” x 12” sanded pastel paper, to complete a color sketch. Handouts and personal attention at your easel will be used to take your skills to the next level. Easels are available.

COLORED PENCIL WITH DIANE RADTKE
SATURDAYS, 9:30 to 3:00,
Level: Beginner with drawing background thru advanced. Individual time as needed. Most workshops will complete a picture of choice. Each workshop includes introduction to different techniques and shortcuts.
Members $50, Guests $60 plus $5 material fee. Fee covers paper & surfaces, tac & any reference photos.
Supplies: Prismacolor pencils preferred, pencil sharpener, white eraser, dust brush & small drawing board, along with any photos

SKILL SHARING SESSION – PASTEL

Warren Tri-County Fine Arts members are invited to work in pastel. Bring your supplies and your subject plans (photographs or sketches) for a shared work experience. Easels are available.
